Gelum drops contain a potassium-iron (III)-phosphate-citrate complex, which binds to the digestive toxin ammonia during intestinal passage. In this way the liver is relieved. This mechanism of action of the medical device Gelum drops has been demonstrated in liver cirrhosis (chronic liver disease) with minimal hepatic encephalopathy.
Application areas:
liver cirrhosis (chronic liver disease) with minimal hepatic encephalopathy (functional disorders of the brain caused by insufficient detoxification function of the liver).
