To develop resistance of Musca spp. Latroxin should be used to prevent this
Delta can only be used if the sensitivity of the fly population is high
is protected against the active ingredient on site.

Resistance to pyrethroids.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to
Deltamethrin or one of the other ingredients.
4.4 Special warnings for each target species:
Latroxin Delta treatment should not be used during periods of intense heat
carried out (risk of licking by animals).
Do not apply on or near the eyes or mucous membranes of animals
administer. Care must be taken to avoid too frequent and one practices
repeated application of insecticides as this increases resistance
and can ultimately lead to treatment ineffectiveness.
Latroxin Delta, a veterinary medicine used to control flies, leads to
reduction of flies directly on the animal. However, this is not possible
ensure that all flies in a company are eliminated.
There have been reports of development of resistance to deltamethrin for pruritus and
non-biting pasture flies on cattle and lice on sheep
reported. Therefore, the use of this veterinary medicinal product should be local
Epidemiological investigations (regional, company) on the sensitivity of
biting and non-stinging grazing flies.
4.5 Special precautions for use:
Special precautions for use in animals:
When combating fleece shedding in sheep it is necessary to take into account the following:
– sheep must be shorn before treatment; Treatment 1 – 10 days
after shearing
– Keep shorn animals away from unshorn ones
– Clip and treat dams 4 – 6 weeks before giving birth
Latroxin Delta should only be applied to healthy areas of skin
If larger skin lesions are present, resorption poisoning may occur. If the skin has already been damaged by a parasitic infestation, local irritation of the affected skin areas may occur after treatment
Latroxin Delta is toxic to bees and should not enter waterways.
The agent is highly toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms.

days after using the product, treated animals should be taken away and
kept away from surface water.
Since the long-term effects of Latroxin Delta on the population dynamics of
Dung insects have not yet been studied, grazing animals are allowed on them
The area only needs to be treated once each grazing season.
Frequent and repeated use of Latroxin Delta can lead to
resistance of parasites to deltamethrin and other representatives of
synthetic pyrethroids.
Resistance in pasture flies (Musca spp.) cannot be ruled out.
Latroxin Delta should only be used as part of a
general concept, which mainly aims to improve the
state of hygiene and the use of non-chemical means for pest control.
The selection of active ingredients
should ideally be based on the results of a sensitivity test.
