Aplona ® is mainly – to put it simply – dried and powdered apples of selected quality. In the production of Aplona ® only freshly picked and unpeeled apples are used.
With modern technologies in compliance with strict quality and safety standards, a contemporary product is created with a tried and tested active ingredient.

The operating principle
With diarrhea, there is a large excess of free fluid that spreads like a wave in the colon. Aplona® apple powder can absorb this excess with its excellent swelling ability, thanks to the natural fiber pectin contained in Aplona®.
When excess fluid binds, Aplona ® apple powder turns into a gel-like substance with a large surface area. This gel spreads and forms a mechanical protective layer that attaches to the intestinal walls. The symptoms of diarrhea improve. The intestines can resume their normal activity.
